Editorial standards

Depth over breadth

One concept explained thoroughly beats a list of seven shallow takes. Assume the reader can Google basics.

Show your work

Benchmarks, diagrams, code with context. Opinion is welcome but claims need evidence.

No AI fluff

We can tell. If you used AI to assist, that's fine — but every sentence must reflect your own understanding.

Specific title

"How we cut p99 latency by 60% without adding hardware" over "Improving performance in Go".

1 500 – 4 000 words

Long enough to go deep, short enough to respect the reader's time. No minimum for postmortems.
